Bogor Botanical Garden
Spanning an astounding 87 hectares of lawns, gardens, ponds, tree groves, and avenues around the Presidential Palace is the Kebun Raya.It was founded by Prof. Dr. C.G.C. Reinwart, a German botanist working in Indonesia in the early 1800s. The garden is the oldest scientific institution in Bogor. Specimens of native plants have been collected from all over the Malay Archipelago and many other tropical regions.

Bogor Presidential Palace
Known as Istana Bogor, this group of buildings is located on the northern side of the Bogor Botanical Garden. The main building, coined buitenzorg or “without a care”, dates back to the 1900s as the official residence of the Governor General of the Dutch East Indies. After Indonesia's independence it became the Bogor Presidential Palace and is often frequented by reigning officials. The palace lawn is inhabited by hundreds of deer that can be fed through the gates.

Situs Prasasti Batu Tulis
This is the previous location of one of the oldest kingdoms in Indonesia where a number of inscriptions remain as proof. The epigraphs were written using kawi, the ancient language of Java, by the son of Padjadjaran's king describing the influence of king Surawisesa in 1533. The inscription is located on Batutulis street No.54, Bogor.

Pemandian Air Panas Gunung Pancar (Mount Pancar Hot Spring)
In Mount Pancar, there are several natural hot spring baths. You can use a private vehicle to get to the tourist sites. Mount Pancar vegetation landscape consists of lowland forests such as pines, rattan, plantations, and shrubs. Enjoy the cool air and beautiful scenery.

Pura Parahyangan (Parahyangan Temple)
Pura Agung Jagatkartta Parahyangan is one of outstanding choices you may find in Bogor city, precisely in the region of Ciapus, a sub district of Bogor. This temple was built in 1995 and inaugurated in 2005. Learn about Hindu culture at this sacred temple that overlooks beautiful scenery of mountains and rice fields.
There is an obelisk like statue near the Bogor Botanical Garden in the middle of crowded Pajajaran Street. On top of the obelisk, there is a figure of something like a sharp weapon. That is the icon of Bogor, Kujang Monument. The statue was set up on its place in 1982. It is still young in term of age. However, it represents something older than its age. It has deeper meaning than its obelisk form.

Taman Buah Mekarsari (Mekarsari Fruits Field)

Taman Bunga Nusantara (Flowers Field)
Taman Bunga Nusantara is the first floral display garden in Indonesia. The park is equipped with various famous and unique collections of flowers from all over the world. People can see the personal collection of the Presidents of the Indonesian Republic in this museum. In addition, they can view sculptures and paintings depicting each of the six presidents. The monument and museum of PETA were built on 14 November 1993. Umar Wirahadikusumah, former Vice President of Indonesia, had the honor of inserting the first stone into place. The museum was officially opened by former President H.M. Soeharto on 18 December 1995.

The Zoological Museum was founded in 1894 for the purpose of Indonesian fauna study. This institution, with a collection of around 300,000 specimens, has a representative display open to the public. There are dioramas showing animals from different environments including displays of insects and the skeleton of a huge blue whale.

Etno Botany Museum
Ethno Botany Museum
On the lower ground of Herbarium Bogoriense at the Museum Ethno Botany you will find an impressive display of handicrafts, implements, medicines, toys, and clothing made from plants and other products. The exhibit includes about 2000 kinds of collections and artifacts on display.
Museum Peruangan is a museum that holds collections of historic objects and stories of the fighters, particularly in Bogor. The museum collection consists of a variety of rifles used by the military that won Indonesian independence. There are also rifles from Japan and the UK, currency that used by VOC at the time, and a diorama depicting the battle in Bogor and its surrounding areas. The museum also has a collection of our fighters clothes, some of them still blood stained.

Batik Tulis Tradisiku (Bogors Authentic Batik Clothing)

Dewi Collection (Batik Dolls)
This unique doll is quite exotic and made from the traditional Batik cloth. Developed by the owner, Ms. Dewi, and her daughter, Batik puppet crafts are popularly sold in Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore. You can browse the Dewi Collection in Semplak, a sub-district of Bogor.
Operating for 300 years, this is the only surviving gong factory in West Java. Visitors are welcome to see traditional gongs and other gamelan instruments created with simple tools, an open fire, and hand-powered bellows. It takes two weeks to beat a copper gong into shape. A few pricey gongs and wayang golek puppets are on sale.

Kujang Pajajaran (Kujang Weapon)
Kujang is a unique handmade knife from West Java. It made from iron and steel and resembles a dagger with a unique bulge at the base. The traditional knives are serrated on one side in the middle and curved at the edges. The Kujang Pajajaran in Sindang Sari area, a sub district of Bogor, is one of the home industries that makes kujang knives as souvenirs for tourists.

Sanggar Tumaritis (Golek Puppet)
These traditional wooden puppets can be purchased at the main gate of the Bogor Botanical Garden or at Dase A.S. in Lebak Kantin. Native to Java, these dolls are traditionally used in performances of shadow puppet theatre around Indonesia.

Wayang Bambu (Bamboo Puppets)
